Sayonara, Summer
As Fall approaches, we take a final look at some of our favorite summer projects.
Houseplant (sansevieria), perennial (heuchera) and million bells. Who says only annuals can go in containers? This mixed container is looking good 7 stories up!
This riot of colors on a South End balcony gets tied together with coleus ‘The Flume’.
This container garden is made in the shade thanks to annuals, tropicals, perennials, and of course, coleus!
Easy summer garden containers for a commercial client. Coleus plays center stage. Check out alternanthera ‘Red Carpet’ hanging with sedum ‘Angelina’.
Pretty in purple. These commercial garden containers make a big impact by just using one color and its tints and tones.
Have a seat. A calming palette of green and white is far from boring when different textures are used to create interest.
Foliage fix. How can you go wrong with a group of plants that don’t need deadheading? More time to enjoy that glass of wine.
Our “Crayola” client loves every color in the box, so our pots include lots of bright ones. An irrigation system and consistent fertilizing mean this Boston roof deck garden looks good through October.
What big leaves you have! Alocasia ‘Callidora’ and supporting cast.
Too many gardens and containers are predictable. Why settle for “blah” when you can have “aah”? Whatever the project, we take advantage of the tremendous diversity of plant material available to create gardens and containers for our clients that are truly unique. The result is always beautiful. Never typical.
We promise.
