Love For The Garden
Hello Deborah,
Thank you for the gorgeous container garden that you created for me at the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck.
I picked it up at the end of the day on Saturday and in the half hour that I was making my way back toward the parking lot with my daughter, so many people came up to me to say, “Wow— that’s so beautiful. Where did you get that?”The love for the garden continues now that it is sitting on my front porch; people walking by, as well as my neighbors, have commented on it.

It was an honor to create a container garden for Olivia. She was so instrumental in spotlighting me for the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck this past June. Did you have an opportunity to read her article in Country Living Magazine? Check it out.
My favorite quote from this article was number 4 on the list:
4. Go beyond annuals.
“Add an edible, add a perennial, add a houseplant,” says Trickett. “The options are unlimited and by mixing it up, you’ll create something that everybody says, ‘wow — I never would have thought of that.’ For instance, people are always surprised when I put lettuce in my spring containers. It’s unexpected. What I love is that at the end of the season you have less waste. The perennials go in the garden, the houseplant goes back inside, and you can eat the parsley.”
I had an amazing time at the Country Living Fair this year. I picked up a nice variety of containers to use for future arrangements. I am already looking forward to next year’s Fair.
